‘Tis the season for mason jar Christmas crafts! Made with Snowflakes, frosting, and love– these DIY White Christmas jars will add that perfect glow, and warmth to your holiday gatherings.
What better time of year is there than Christmas, to sit around with the friends and family and take that much-needed time to make crafts and share memories with one another? This beautiful frosted snowflake mason jar idea is something that will be cherished for years to come, and can be brought out year after year in memory of this upcoming holiday season.
I like the idea of taking a photo of myself, nieces and nephews when making this, and putting the photo in the jar so that I can always look at it and smile, each Christmas when I pull it out of the box along with the rest of the holiday decor! You can also make them without using the snowflake stencil, and add to any setting in any room, any time of the year!
- Mason Jars
- Metallic Glass Paint
- Silkscreen Snowflake Stencils
- A paint dauber
- A foam brush
- Mod Podge
- Tea lights (battery powered, or not)
- Salt (regular table salt for the body of the jar, and larger Kosher salt for the top of the jar).
