We all see those adorable little Christmas trees everywhere around Christmas time, so grab a few and a couple of mason jars for cute DIY decorations!
I was pleasantly surprised at how cute these turned out and how quick and easy they were to put together! Everything I used I purchased from the dollar store, except the jars, so this was most definitely an inexpensive DIY project.
To make your own, you’ll need a few simple things ….
- Mason Jars
- Candle Holders of various sizes
- Beads or Pebbles
- Small Christmas Trees
To put these together, get your hot glue gun out and glue the jars to the candle holders. You could frost the candle holders or paint them, but I really like how simple these look. Next just put your pebbles in and Christmas tree on top and your done! It actually might be better to put the tree in first and then place the pebbles around the tree.
I used three different types of types of Christmas trees because it’s what I had on hand at the time! I really like the look of a different tree in each jar. You could even lose the candle holders and just have the jar and trees! I made some more afterwards and did that just that! Mine are sitting on my coffee table!
I was playing around with them after I made them and put a few little lights around them. See?
Clear lights would probably look better than blue, but I just like the lights!
