Ladies, don't give your man a hard time about baking cookies. We're all created equal and should be able to fatten our bellies equally! :)
Men, you can avoid a little of the judgement if you don't use pink M&M's when you make yours.
These are perfect for a country-store or farmers market tent. Be prepared to sell out, if that is what you choose to do with them!

Cowgirl Cookie Mix Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup all purpose flour, spooned into measuring cup & leveled
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup cooking oats
1/4 cup m&ms
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 – 1/2 cup chopped pecans
The order of appearance of the items in the jar:
1. flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
2. oats
3. m&ms
4. chocolate chips
5. brown sugar
6. white sugar
7. chopped pecans
Is it baking time?
Place all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, then add the following:
* 1 slightly beaten egg
* 1/2 cup of butter (melt slightly in the microwave).
* 1 teaspoon vanilla (mmm...)
Combine with dry ingredients in your mixing bowl, and mix well.
Use the back of a large spoon to work it all together. You may even need to use your hands to get everything incorporated.
Roll the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Make sure the oven is preheated fully before adding cookies.
